Strategic Estates comprises of 2 divisions - Valuation and Land Strategy. They are part of Cardiff Council's Corporate Services. The role of the division is to advise the Council and associated service areas on all aspects of its property holdings and to manage the estate to ensure best value is achieved. Other activities include the maintenance of the Local Land and Property Gazetteer ( LLPG ), Property Information service and Energy Management unit, Council Surveys Database and Asbestos Management.
